Nick started in brand management at Unilever, before moving into recruitment placing technical and operational roles in construction, a sector with little tolerance for guesswork.
In 2017, he moved into agriculture, joining the founders of an established labour-hire business to help build their permanent recruitment arm. Five years there gave him deep exposure across broadacre, horticulture, livestock, and cotton.
Off the clock, Nick’s a Bournemouth Marketing grad, a former rugby and cricket player, and a self-confessed average golfer who’ll never turn down a round. He had his daughter and started March Talent Partners within months of each other. No regrets on either count.
Too many agricultural recruitment briefs get handled as transactional work: shallow client relationships, rushed candidate processes, placements that don’t stick.
Nick founded March Talent Partners in June 2024 to do it differently. Advisory rather than transactional. Accountable for the placement, and for what happens after it.
We work across both bands, operational and supervisory roles through to mid-senior management, for corporate growers, family-owned operators, and institutional investors, across broadacre, horticulture, livestock, and cotton. No executive search. No generalist work. Agriculture only.
